Youth are taught traditional Chippewa values and life skills to encourage each child's success in a contemporary life. The Chippewa values focus on seven teachings: Wisdom, Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Humility, and Truth. Each month, different "camps" incorporate the Chippewa values to guide practical skills of hunting, fishing, trapping, gardening, gather, language, craft and survival."
